How many of your guns do you shoot on a regular basis, vs safe queens or ones you shoot rarely?

I own maybe a dozen guns, mostly handguns, and probably shoot the same 3 or 4. The others I just don't feel like cleaning or they are too valuable to me. So for me, that would be around 25-33%

Of my guns, the ones I've been shooting most are my S&W 469 and my old 20 gauge single shot. I did go make some noise last weekend with my M-44 though.

This weekend will be full of clay shooting and target shooting, so most of my guns will get a workout. Only ones I'm not taking are the M-44 and my Muzzle loader.

I tend to shoot about 5-10% of my guns "often," maybe 30% "occasionally," some only once a year, and some go years between range sessions.

My competition disciplines take up the most of my time/ammo, and the rest of the lot is just in reserve.

Glock 35, AR-15, Benelli M1 get the lion's share of my shooting these days in multi-gun matches. So that's like 1% of my "collection" that has been shot this year.

I "found" a 1970's era Colt 1911 in my safe I completely forgot about last week as well as a Beretta 92FS Inox that still has the factory tag on the trigger. Go figgure. ;)

I try to shoot most of them at least once a year...maybe once every 2 years....but it is probably only about 10%-15% that I shoot regularly

I own nine handguns but only shoot three of them regularly. Those being my M&P9, CZ75 and Ruger 22/45. I shoot the 22/45 the most because it's so cheap to shoot. That would put me at about 33% for handguns. Total percentage would be at 25%.

I shoot maybe 2% of my collection. Several have never been fired in the years I've owned them.

I own 7 guns but when I go to the range it's always the AR and the 1911. I go to an outdoor range where the lanes are seperated by burms, so I do tactical exercises shooting at a steel sillouette at 100 yards. I'll load a couple AR magazines with about 5 rounds each but try not to count. Or I get a friend to load them with a random number of rounds. Then I start from a patrol carry not facing the target, turn and double tap. When I run empty, I change out the magazine quickly and double tap. When I run dry on the AR I switch to the 1911 and repeat the same exercise while moving towards the target.

You didn't define "regularly," but to me that could mean anything from weekly to quarterly, as long as it's not season related ( as a hunting rifle might be).

I shoot carry guns weekly. The guns I shoot at least monthly are the ones I can shoot without traveling 30+ miles to an appropriate venue. The range at which I'm a member allows shotguns (except slugs) and anything chambered in a modern rimfire or "handgun" caliber; that excludes about a fourth of my guns.

I do not own a single gun that I have never fired.

In comparison between my own guns, I shoot about 25% regularly, 50% occasionally, and the other 25% serve a distinct purpose and I shoot them when the situation calls for it. I shoot all of my guns more regularly than my neighbor does though.

I try to shoot each of my guns on a regular basis...
Just to stay sharp and keep the skills up!

Lateck,

2% and they are handguns, haven't fired a rifle or shotgun this year. Firearms passed down to me haven't been fired at all.

I am mostly into handguns. I currently have 4 though 1 of them is new (had it less than 2 weeks). Of the other three I shot one semi regularly, one here and there and the other I haven't shot in two years. When you have multiple Glocks, and multiples in the same caliber even, shooting each one isn't really necessary. The 2 years one is up for the range very soon though.

As Many as I Can Carry

They all get their turn to the range, just not all at once.
My 22s get the most trips to the range, by far.

I shoot 99% of them regularly. About 25% of them get shot more than the others though.

Interesting question. I have a few family heirlooms that are seldom, if ever, shot. Most of the others get out to the range at least annually and my 2 main SD guns I try to shoot at least monthly.

85.7124%
I only have 7 guns, one that I don't shoot often.
My personal carry weapon and go-to rifle are there every time.

The percentage that is .22lr. Even if I reloaded, I couldn't afford to shoot my 9mm guns these days. Plus then I would have to invest into the equipment first.

With .22's I can shoot a lot more often!

I have many guns I have never fired not because I do not want to fire them but I just have not had the time to take those particular guns out to shoot. I fire probably less than ten percent of my guns at this time.
