XD all the way, its great in any caliber. All the benefits of owning a glock with the addition of a grip safety and a better grip angle. Gaston be damned.

G19 - It was my first handgun. Probably the most popular 9mm handgun around. XD9 would be a second choice of the ones listed.

I'm partial to Glocks, but I do like my XD 45 Tactical.

I like my FNP-9 DA/SA decock only, it shoots like champ and with the flat backstrap installed it feels better in my hand than the Glock or the XD.

The CZ would be a good choice as well

whatever fits you best, for me that is the xd line. i have 2 and i love em between the 2 right at 8k with 0 issues. they are accurate, reliable, and great shooters. xd's have metal in a few places that the glock has plastic and that always bothered me.

you can't go wrong with a glock either especially the 19 that would fit your bill too. i just could never get over the grip angle and the size of the grip on the glocks.

either one of these would serve you well but i would take the xd over the glock everytime.

and by the poll the glock and xd look neck in neck.
