I shot a mossberg last weekend and compared to my 870, it felt "plasticky" while loading the shells. It didnt' have the same solid feeling as mine, so even though it was an attractive looking shotgun and fuctioned fine, to me that was the deal-breaker and I would stick to a Remington 870.
