A local gun store (Kittery Trading Post) is having a sale, and there's one of these:
Sportster for about $110.
The price is right, it feels good when I shoulder it, and I like the idea of having a single shot to develop shooting skill.
It has no iron sights, so when (IF!) I buy it I'll need a scope & mount.
Mounts: How much do mounts really matter? Should I just get something cheap?
I have no idea what scope to get. I want to spend around $200 total, so that puts a pretty strong restriction on scopes. Plus I can upgrade later. Any good scopes for under $70?
Thanks,
Owen
