be payin for a Baby eagle 9mm IMI? I am going done to midwest gun exchange tomorrow to have a look around...If they have one at a decent price it just might have a new home. I priced a few online at around $499. this seems reasonable to me, would love to have your thoughts on it.

Well, IMO, if you gots your bills paid, groceries in the box, and other obligations covered, if the price is fly, you must buy. Actually, your financial situation is none of my business, but if the price is right, go for it. This is a 'want', not a 'need', eh? Be good to yourself.

You might try to shop around for an "as delivered" quote from Davidson's Gallery of Guns. In my area, these prices ranged from about $400 to $470 (including shipping and fees). Sportingarms.com lists the Baby Eagle for $404, less shipping and transfer fees. Not sure I would pay four and a half for a used gun if new ones can be had for the same price.

It's just a question of time and effort. Sometimes paying a little more for something in stock is worthwhile.

Thanks for the input. I will let you guys/gals know how I make out when I return. I wanted to keep it under $500. what ever I purchase today. Who knows I might find something else that rubs me the right way or I may find nothing. :(

FFL transfers up here are "OUTRAGOUS" so I want to avoid transfer fees. unless it is a great deal. I also like to see the sape of the items in question.
tks again for the input.

Dh wants a CZ52 but the ammo is an off round and we are tryin to stay with rounds that we might find laying around. ;) also in round we already have..

Most gun shops sell the 9mm model for around $450 here in CO., with a few exceptions (Sportmans Warehouse has them for $409). I own one, my wife loves it. After firing it, three of my friends bought their own. Great guns, you'll be very pleased.

Israeli-made is fine with me. As a member of a rare class (armed American Jews), I always thought it would be cool to carry a gun made and used my my less-wimpy brothers across the world.

In my supposedely "high priced" area,a local chain sells them on sale quite often for about $429. I bought a 40S&W version a few years back for about the same price.

I liked the all steel construction and I bought it after 9/11 sort of just to thumb my nose at Saudi Arabia and all those other places that hate the USA :D
