So let me start by saying that i actually do live in a great neighborhood. But I see a problem arising.
Here for about the last week (maybe more I couldnt say) we have had some daily visits by some pot smokers. We have caught 7 in the last two days alone. What is happening is that kids from the local High School sneak over to our apartment complex and smoke a little reefer in the hallways of the buildings. Yesterday the two that were caught were expelled from the school but today the school informed us that they couldnt do anything about it because the students that were caught were actually enrolled at another school but they were in the area for a class that shares some greenhouses at this school. They said that they were supposed to have already left for the other school. The police did catch the five today but the were able to "ditch" the stash first. I know for a fact that the local PD has permission to press tresspassing charges without involving the appartment managment company (I spearheaded that process when I had some crazy family drama a while back). However today they just delivered them to the school and said you handle this. I have real issues with this because I have two small children (one 2yo and one 6 month old) and these teenagers are smoking grass in the same building my children are living in, not to mention the exposure of drugs is a real problem with me and the fact that the presence of drugs increases the chances of other criminal activities. I have involved the apartment complex in the process of protecting our complex but I would like to know what my other options are to keep from letting this continue I find it unsat that instead of setting an example that any one does this will be dealt with swifty and harshly they are slapping them on the wrists. What can I do so that this stops.
