What single feature of semi's appeals to you the most?

Capacity and the ability to quickly get the weapon back into service when running out of ammo.

I am not saying that revolvers are ugly or obsolete, I happen to own both, but there are few firearms that are more beautiful than a custom hand fit 1911, Browning Hi power, or a Beretta 92.

Each specific model of autoloader has its appeal.

Indeed, a Walther P5 is not flatter than a revolver (its slide out-chunks a Glock!), only holds one more round than a new Smith and Wesson 627, is about the same weight as a 327, and few rounds are available to the public that are hotter than a .357 Magnum hollowpoint.

But you hold a Walther P5, and it feels like love.

fast draw, fast target acquisition, fast firing, fast reloading

(because I'm not Mr. Miculik [sp?]).
