What sling for a folding stock FAL?

I need a sling for my FAL carbine. You can't see from the pic, but it does have a detachable front sling swivel on the barrel, plus it has the Para type swivel under the rear sight. I had a canvas M14 type sling on it, but it just gets in the way with that high rear swivel and all the controls on the left side.

So what works for you folks with folding stocks?

Huh, my Para came with a sling. Did you get your's directly from DSA?

This is the one that I use for my folder. I dont use the folding function while the rifle is slung.



The sling is a Spectre universal 2 point. Its connected at the rear loop, and the butt of the folder.

I imagine that one could get a single point sling, and connect it to just the rear loop.

I use a Wide Padded Sling from Viking Tactics with my Para. Works really well for CQB drills and such.

I built this FAL myself from a Brazilian Imbel parts kit. The folder is a DSA though, just recently added.

I imagine that one could get a single point sling, and connect it to just the rear loop.

I've thought about that. Had anyone tried a single point sling with such a heavy rifle?

I would avoid the single-point slings if you have to carry the rifle any distance. IMO, single point slings are only useful for tactical entry situations, or some types of competitions.
