I know that feel....
What did you finally go with? I'm dealing with the same problem training for a 50K. Even in the winter I'm soaked through with sweat by the time I get in. I don't want to add 5 gun cleanings a week to my training routine. I've been using a belly band (pistol wear) with a Ruger LCP inside a pocket holster, inside the belly band pocket. It's comfortable enough and accessible with a bit of practice and dry fire, but it's not practical since the pistol has been sitting in a damp holster - possibly for over an hour by the time I finish. Lots of animals in my area and I'm often running early/late in the dark so I definitely want to carry. I don't really need another subcompact so I'd rather get a decent holster that stays dry on the inside than invest in a stainless subcompact.
