Last weekend I was sorting through my brass to start the tumbling process, and noticed some 45 Colt brass with larger than normal primer holes. Headstamp is Starline Blank. So I either picked it up at the range, or it was some white box ammo from a commercial reloader I picked up years ago at a gunshow (right after getting into 45 colt). Or it might have been a mislabeled bag of brass - I have absolutely no reason to buy blanks. Or (edit - just thought of another source), it might have come from some stuff I bought from an older guy getting rid of stuff he had collected over the years.
Anyway, not long ago I starting going through (shooting) anything that's been sitting on the shelf for a while, partly to put brass into circulation, but also to keep some of the older stuff from getting stale.
So, I went through all my 45 colt brass, and it looks like I have about 70 pieces, not counting what I might have loaded up recently before noticing it (haven't sorted through that yet).
Now that we have the history out of the way, what is the wisdom of THR regarding 45C Blank brass?
It's nice stuff, but I'm sure it's not going to do anything for my accuracy lobbing lead downrange.
