Thanks for all the replies on the other thread, but now lets talk about the "Unique" factory Rifles you own.....
I own a stainless Ruger M77 in 7.62x39, with the Boat paddle stock. Great shooting little rifle, but I have only seen 1 other and it was a Blued in a Boat paddle stock,Ugly to my eyes.
I also own and shoot a Blued Ruger M77/44 mag. My oldest son own the only other one I know of or have ever seen at the range. Another fun, and cheap to shoot little rifle. Lots of fun, as it looks and feels like my own 'Safari" rifle. I'll never get the chance to got to Africa, but this is what I think a "Safari" rifle would look like, with a BIG Hole in the right end of the barrel.
I also shoot a Ruger #1 in 45/70 that I found for a song years ago. Most beautiful Rifle I own. Supurb wood on it. If I load it heavy tho it'll scuff my elbows bloody from a concrete bench. Thats no fun.
