What was the latest gun you sold?

I sold my Colt SP1 a couple years before the AWB expired. It went with a bunch of both 20 and 30 round magazines and a bayonet. I got twice what I paid for it and not nearly what it was worth but I don't feel bad. The guy I sold it to didn't know what he was getting, other than a great rifle. I hope they both are happy.

I don't even know which one was the most recent one I sold. There was a well-worn 4" S&W 19-5, a Gen 4 Glock 19, a beater VZ-24 Mauser, and I'm sure I've forgotten at least one.

There are a handful of "absolutely never sell guns", a few "sell only if needed to provide food and shelter" and then everything else. Most of my collection falls under the "everything else" header. They weren't gifts, didn't belong to family members and have no memories attached to them, which makes them just stuff. Just stuff can always be bought, sold and replaced later.

What is this word sell, I have no use for it. Some day someone else will be selling off what I can no longer use.;) Seriously there have been no firearms leave my possession for some decades now.:D I have liquidated other things to pay bills but not my guns!

I don't remember. Really. The last arm I divested was a Volunteer Arms "Commando" (Tommy Gun wannabe) in .45 ACP. It was a good house gun until PDSR California declared it an 'assault weapon'; so I got rid of it. That was a long time ago.

Oh. I sold a S&W 4516 (I think) about four years ago to the guy who sold it to me. He wanted it back.

I don't normally sell guns, but I may in the future as I have a few I really don't want anymore.

In the last year I’ve sold a Marlin 45/70 a mossberg 22 mill trainer very old and a Remington 870.The Rugar charger is next.

When I first started my collection many many years ago I sold off two pieces that I highly regret today but I needed the money. One was a .303 Brit Enfield which was the first rifle I ever bought and the second was a Colt Trooper Mk III that a friend sold to me when he gave up being a police officer.
At that time I said I'd never sell another gun which I didn't until a couple of years ago. A young guy I knew needed a HD piece for his wife and he ask me about it but told me he couldn't afford much could I help him out
I had a Bersa .380 that I really didn't need or want and it was a good shooter. I had bought the thing just to buy it at the time because it was a good deal So I sold the Bersa to him for less than I paid for it and gave him a box of shells to go with it. He was very thankful and appreciated that I helped him out.
And that's the last one I ever sold!

The last one was a Remington Nylon 22 semi. When I went to ship it, I discovered that UPS had changed over to dimensional weight pricing, so they wanted $50 to ship a 5 lb gun. It went via USPS.

SIG P220 American. Magnificent shooter, but too big for my current requirements. No need to keep it just because it is cool.
