Taurus 669 357 mag in stainless. It was a nice revolver, however I later traded it when the Tracker series came out, I wanted the 7 shot cylinder.

First gun I bought was a Stevens/Savage Singleshot 12ga (say that fast 3 times.....) when I was 18. This was after some :cuss: broke-in to my parents house and stole the Rem. 870 Wingmaster 12 ga my dad gave me for my 16th birthday:banghead: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: .

My first hand gun, at 21 was a .357 Ruger Speed Six sporting a 2 3/4" barrel bought from Oshmans (now "Sports Authority").

My first was a Norinco 22(knock off of Browning take down).I still have it. I wanted a Ruger 10/22 but after taxes I was one dollar short. But then I got it home and shot my first two rounds through the same hole at 35 yards.

Savage 110FP in .223, bought it with my last pay/commision check from a christmas job at a luggage store, sometime around '96-97 or so. don't remember the exact year but the short action 10FP became available within 3-4 months of me buying the long action. ALMOST made me wish i'd waited a little longer to see what i could get. but i wound up very happy with the 110.

When I first became a Cop in 1968 I bought a 4 Inch Smith M&P as a Service Revolver and a 2 Inch Colt Cobra for off duty..........I think I got both for around $125.00

first gun was a 10/22 that I bought from a local guy from money I saved from working at BSA camp.

Dad gave me my first gun at 14; but when I was 16 he saved my money from working for the summer like deskjockey, and I got a Savage 12ga pump...

First gun purchased completely by myself was a VZ52 and transferred at a pawnshop. Very nice rifle.

First gun I purchased myself was a Mossberg Model 800 243 rifle. It shot really good. Second one was a Remington Model 700 in 270. The Mossberg is long gone, but still have the Remington. First handgun was a H&R 999 22 revolver; it was okay if you don't mind the rear sight falling off if you aren't paying attention or the powder and possibly lead fragments blowing back and hitting your face. It's gone long ago and I don't miss it one bit. After the H&R, I swore off cheap guns and wouldn't even buy a Ruger for years.... finally picked up a Mark II 22 with bull barrel. Good pistol.

First gun I purchased was S&W Model 586 .357 with 6" barrel. Sent it in for the hammer mod a few years ago. I have tried different grips for it but it sits in the safe now as it was original. Don't shoot it much anymore, but the only way I'll let that one go is in my Will.

it was a sears 22 rifle. tube fed. i bought it when i was 9 or 10. funny story actually. me and my dad were shooting pool in a bar in arizona. my dad didnt drink. some guy comes in and says he wants to get drunk but doesnt have any money. he wants to sell his 22 rifle. i had the money and my dad let me buy it.

i was stupid 10 years later and sold it. it was a piece of you know what, but i wish id kept it for sentimental reasons. grittiest action and trigger ive ever seen. no ammount of cleaning could fix that. complete disassembly and wash with soap and water with a toothbrush and then oiled and it still was like sand inside.

target rifle

My first gun was a remington 22 target rifle - don't remember the model number. It was for high school rifle club; we shot in the gym.
Carried it to school on a sling, plus had my books and gym bag.
That was in about 1959 or so.
Learned to shoot at YMCA camp before that.
This was in Aberdeen Washington.

S&W 686+ stainless seven shot .357 with a 4 inch barrel. I can promise that it is one gun that I will never get rid of - an awesome all-around handgun! :D
