What was your first gun?

A Crossman M-1 BB gun, bought for me by my father when I was about 12 or 13. It's a little rougher now, but I still have it.

My first firearm was a Smith and Wesson Model 10 .38 special, Royal Hong Kong Police, with lanyard ring, bought from an army surplus dealer at a local flea market in 1995. I still have it too, and it shoots well, though it is a little worse for me learning both how to use it and how not to use it.

With the exception of that Daisey lever action BB gun, it was a Sears "Ted Williams Model" 12 ga pump shotgun.

my first gun was a sporterized springfield 1903 when i was 14 i convinced my mom to let me get a gun for my birthday.

First Gun -Benjamin Pump pellet rifle (I shot that old gun so much that the barrel broke loose from the pump, got it repaired and shot it til it did it again) First Firearm was a handmedown 22 stevens rifle that was my dads (still have it) First Pistol ruger 22 standard model that I bought for 30 bucks when I was 8 (still have it too and it still shoots great even after going thru me and my two sons and my wife). rugerman

Mossberg 183D bolt action .410 shotgun with threaded barrel neener: ) to accomodate the screw on chokes.

Great gun on little creatures with furry tails that snack on nuts.

A Commission M1888 Mannlicher, arsenal modified to short rifle length. I got mine in the late '70s when they first started coming in. Had a lot of fun with that gun in college. I've owned three others since then.

Ruger 10/22 in 1966. Still have the rifle and it still shoots like new.

I can still see it...a Marlin 782 .22LR w/a 4x scope. $100 NIB (paper route money). Should've kept it.

Daisy Red Ryder BB gun.

First real gun, Stevens Crack shot .22 given to me by my Grandfather with the understanding that I was to kill every chicken hawk I saw! The year was 1954, I still have it. More than a few hawks fell to that little .22

16 ga given to me by my grandfather when I turned 13. I still have it. If I had a dollar for every dove and quail I shot with it, I could have several FA guns......the first gun I bought was a Standard Ruger 22 auto, before the Mk1. I still have that too......chris3

My first gun ever given to me was a Remington model 12 with octagon barrel. Man that thing was an absolute shooter. The first gun I bought myself was a Remington 700 Classic in 220 Swift. Had to get rid of them both, and many more, several years ago. These two are the ones I am currently trying to reaquire. The model 12 won't be hard to get, just have to pony up some cash. The 700 Classic is rather difficult to find in like new condition. And they are not exactly giving these away either.

Mauser and S&W

My brother in law gave me a 7mm Mauser (I believe it was from Venezuela originally) while I was in college.

The first gun that I ever bought was a S&W J Frame Model 36 Chief's Special.
I do not have it. I sold it before I went overseas back in 1973.

I have every other gun I've bought since that time .

My first real gun was an EAA Windicator in .38 special. Not a bad little gun for the price(just over $200 new).
