What was your first revolver?

I bought a blued Miroku .38 spl in the early 1970s. Think j-frame for size and style. Sold it in the late '70s to help finance a move out of state for grad school.

Blued Colt Trooper .357, 4" barrel, Pre-Mk III. Sold it to a guy in my battalion going to 'Nam in 1969 when my orders were canceled.

Mine was CVA black-powder 1858 Remington knock-off, purchased in around 1986. Still have it, but have never gotten around to firing it.

My first cartridge-firing revolver was (is) a Taurus Model 66, purchased new in 1987. I still have it as well.

A Dan Wesson 15VH6 was my first. Decided 6" bbl. was not to my tastes and it "morphed" into a 4" Stainless Security Six that I dearly miss.

H&R Sportsman .22 with the one piece walnut grip. $30 new. Couldn't afford a new K22 or Officer's Model. They cost more than twice as much, at $65.

First personally owned revolver was a four-inch pencil-barreled S&W Model 10 (dating from the early '50s, in pristine condition) handed down from father-in-law ... I came late in life to wheelguns, started with semi-autos (Colt's Gov't Model .45s) as a young man ...

Was briefly issued the Model 10 and the Model 15 as an MP at a base where strangely, we had to carry them as that was what the DoD cops we worked with carried (someone eventually got a clue and then all the active duty guys got 1911s).

Used Charter Arms Undercover. Piece of garbage..got a "bad one". Took a bath on it when I traded it in, and replaced it with a Pre Model 12 Snub that served me well for years.

Ruger Standard bought with my 11 yo birthday money and savings from mowing yards, dad went halves with me.

Model 28-2 S&W 28 new in 1984.
I sold it in 1985 and a year later bought a used one made in 1957. I learned my lesson in selling guns and haven't sold one since.

I bought another new old stock 28-2 two years ago and it won't be sold.

I tried to upload a picture of it but THR won't allow me to for some reason.

Ruger Security Six, stainless. Sold it to finance another wheelgun. Found an identical Security Six recently. Paid less for it than the first one. Sometimes things work out, given enough time.

Soviet Model 1895 Nagant revolver made at Izhevsk in 1944. Interesting little revolver. Shoots pretty well, too.
