Well, how will you cellibrate?

Not to sure mysellf, If i've moved back to the US by then I might start with adding flash hiders to any rifles I may have.

What about you guys?

I'll be playing around with my milling machine trying to design bolt-on bayonet lugs for my ARs and AKs.

Kharn

Stock up on 30 rounders for my 10/22

Buy a doublestack .45

Put a folding stock on my 9mm camp carbine

Start stocking up on hi-cap magazines, even for the guns I don't own but would like to get when I can afford them.

Spend $1k on C-mags, put bayonet lugs & flash suppressors on some rifles and wait for retirement so I can play with them. :(

I will be celebrating, and crying...

Don't get me wrong, I WANT the ban to go away. I've spent a fortune on preban junk though. Now if that ban expires the value of my stuff will go into the toilet. :( I will be able to buy twice as much though...:D

I think one of the guns more affected by the sunset will be the AR10/SR25/.308 AR group. I for one would be much more interested if I could find 20 round mags without spending a ton and ripping up an M1A mag.

pitch my mini 14 into the desert an buy an AR!

my opinion though.......the price of the rifles will stay the same (new ones) now they will just be able to give us the options we want on them. i will go buy some hi caps for my pistols an stock up on 10 roundr trainer mags.

after calling Ruger they have no plans to ever make the 20 round mag for the mini 14 again. and i have surplus AR 30 round mags. so that solves that question.

how much depreciation are people thinking a Pre-ban rifle will lose?

100s$ 20-30 bucks?

Sell off my steel futures. They should be worth plenty with all the standard-capacity magazines sure to be churned out.

Willyjixx - before you pitch the Mini into the Nevadan desert, can you let me know when? I'll go there just to watch. ;)

4v50 Gary :

gonna salvage some parts huh:D

im sorry i am a packrat. thats why i still have that remington 522 that i cuss at.

make my 10/22 as evil looking baby killer as i can get it! seriously, a pistol grip on my shotty, and a bunch of huge 10/22 and AR mags

I will investigate the vote record for any/all recently tried AWB renewal legislation, and call and write out paper and ink letters expressing my thanks and support for those who voted properly.

It happened once.
It happened because most gunnies don't vote and are not politically active.

Perhaps the '94 AWB can be the kick in the arse needed to get people paying attention.

Is there talk that the ban might go away or is it just a question to see what if??

but to your question i have absloutly no idea.

Folding stock for the mini-14 (been waiting 10 years--I didn't buy one before the ban because I thought "this is a free country, it won't pass.":banghead:
