What would be your choice grip for a S&W "J" frame 'Pocket Carry' revolver?

My choice for Stocks on a J-Frame for "Pocket Carry" are as follows:

Wood: Craig Spegel "Boot Grip"
Eagle Grips "Secret Service Grips"

Non-Wood: Uncle Mike's "Boot Grip"

I have listed them in the order of preference for the wood stocks. BTW, revolver grips are called "Stocks" not grips. :) I really like the Uncle Mike's and I believe they come "stock" on new S&W J-Frames.

Nope, don't even tell me revolver grips are stocks..

I'm almost 65 years old, I had enough trouble trying to get "clips vs magazines" straight and I'm too old to start over calling those things that all of my life I've called "grips", stocks... Somebody else will have to fight that war.

Grips are the things you hold on to when you place your hand around the revolver "grip", and "stocks" will continue to be those things wrapped around my rifle barrels. May not be right, but that's what I'll callin' 'em.

Lots of luck converting the faithful on this issue. :D

Stocks go on a rifle or shotgun. Or in a Puritan village, where all the interesting people are confined while the ragamuffins and uptight folks throw tomatoes at them.

Handguns have grips. And while I respect the good PX15 and his age and all, I ain't near that old. Nor am I changing what I call 'em.

Sounds like you and I are of the same opinion, right?

I say my pistols/revolvers have grips, not stocks.
I say my rifles/shotguns have stocks, not grips.

This may or not be correct, but it's the nomenclature I've used for decades and I'm sticking with it.

When buying replacement "grips" I never see them in packages marked "stocks" that's for sure.
