I've got a Stag lefty AR lower on order now. I've got a pretty good idea what I'm wantin' to do with it, lower & upper. But, the question is: What would you do with it?

A1 upper with a 16" tube chambered in 7.62x39.

Since building it into a CMP-legal service rifle is out of the question, I'd buy a stripped Stag Arms LH upper and parts kit, an aluminum float tube handguard, a 24" 1:7.7" Krieger barrel, A Leupold VX-III 6.5-20x50mm scope, and a good bipod. I'd buy a few thousand rounds of Black Hills 69 gr and I'd head to somewhere with a major prarie dog problem and offer my assistance.
And since I'm spending someone else's money, I'd stay in a really nice hotel when I got there.

have a certain gunsmith in virginia build a krieger-based h-bar upper for it, eotech it, and have a good yotee bomber.

weighs in about 8 pounds, so not much less portable than a standard bolt, but shorter, accurate, and fun. also good for winning postal shoots, and embarrassing friends w/.

Yeah, except for the Eotech, that's pretty much the direction I'm headed in. I'll glass it instead of the Eeo, & go give the gophers hell out to longer ranges than the CZ will reliable down 'em.

Though I do fully expect to get a confirmed 200 yard kill on a gopher with the CZ452 this coming season.
