As a receiver, it should go trhough an FFL *if* sold out of state or within a state which bans personal transactions. The seller should have noted that. The seller may be ignorant of the law, or assume that the buyer knows, or be a fishing fed.
And those a$$es pulled my auctions, twice nonetheless, for trying to sell a couple of unmodified satellite receiver access cards because I received new ones. I hate Ebay/PayPal!!!
This guy must be a special kind of idiot. Look at his feedback 87.9%. I would never buy from anyone that didn't have a 97% or better feedback. I think he is just stupid.
It looks like he's just breaking up the whole thing to sell separately (receiver, parts, and stock). Maybe he took it apart and couldn't get it back together again. Too bad he hasn't got the barrel available since that's the piece I'm looking for
I've actually seen a lot of interesting AR-7 items there lately. Someone had a cut down 12" barrel, along with a statement that you would need a special permit to actuall put it on your rifle, and I believe someone else has some Charter Arms Explorere II parts, including the barrel, which I believe would fit any other AR-7 giving you a really short barrel.
