What is your most sought after non NFA collectible WW2 weapon. I have a couple of k98 mausers all matching, 1944 p38, springfield m1 garand, remington 1903a3, type 14 nambu, type 99 arisaka, still missing the colt 1911 and alot more but i would have to say the lugers are the most sought after. what does everyone think?

Luger, Artillery-version with long barrel, with stock and snaildrum-mag.

..looks like da Vinci built it, if u ask me :)

The Artillery Luger with Snail Drum is more of a WWI item. There may have been some found (on the battlefield) in 30s and 40s Europe. But probably very few. And yes I do want one.

Let's see...

It seems that I have the basics covered, but there's a lot I still need to round out the collection, but I really can't name just one. Actually after proofing the post, I "need" more than I "have".

Japanese Garand all the way. Anyone ever seen these? if not one of those, then a G or K 43.

Are you asking what my personal most sought-after non-NFA WWII firearm is?

If so, I'd have to say the Johnson rifle. You just don't see them these days.

Also I want a GI-issue 1911 and an Enfield.

Fella's;

I've shot an artillary Luger, lousy trigger. I really don't have a true wanna-wanna-wanna gun from that era. Nothin' against 'em, they just don't wind my watch. If pushed, I suppose I'd take the U.S. Garand over anything else. But I wouldn't go to any extrodinary lengths to get one.

Off the top of my head:

M1903A4 Sniper

No4 MKI (T) Sniper (had one, always sorry I sold it)

M1C Garand Sniper

Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless (General Officer's Model - with belt & holster as well)
