i am looking for a nice scope that i can put on my AR-15. i amlooking for something that has a ballistics rectical, witch will aid in ranging, and a bullet drop compensater. would be nice if it were set up for 5.56, .223. heres the catch. i am looking to spend 300.00 TOPS!! is this possible? thanks guys, brian.

i am open to any suggestions, so let me know what you guys think.

IMO, for fixed magnification, probably the Tasco Super Sniper with rear AO ring (as opposed to side). For variable, I've had good luck with Nikon Buckmasters with target turrets and Mil-Dot. However, mine are on rimfire guns.

Yes.

Hey There: That is a good scope. But make sure you buy it from the company and not some off the wall sales or web site. There are a lot of copies out there. Fakes. I mean fakes of that particular brand. If you send a fake back to the "M" company for repairs, They will keep the scope and not return it . Just a heads Up.

I am in the same boat. The best value fgor the money that I could find, at the 300 dollar price tag, was the Nikon Buckmaster 6-14 x 40. 310.00 shipped to my door.
