Does anyone know of a good comprehensive website with all the laws regarding pepper spray and related laws? I found one earlier but lost it when my computer crashed 6 months ago. handgunlaws.us has a document that lists restrictions that are in various states, such as California not allowing over 2.5 oz and needing a special warning on the can. However that website doesn't include all 50 states like the earlier website I found did. The other website I'm looking for goes over if pepper spray is stated in the state code as being legal in the defense of property or personal defense only, and if not mentioned than applicable laws for non-deadly force in the use of defense of property.

Thanks, that's a good website.

So I'm wondering, Massachusetts and New York require you to buy pepper spray from a license gun dealer. Does that only apply if you buy it when in the state you need to buy from a licensed person, or does that mean if pepper spray even enters the state (you're in New York and buy it while outside the state when on vacation) that can't happen because it wasn't bought within the state and from a licensed dealer? Like if you live in Utah then you go on vacation to New York, would you need to buy another bottle of OC spray? Then you cross the state line into Massachusetts for an hour would you need to discard your N.Y. spray and buy Mass spray then when you go back to N.Y. an hour later you need to discard that spray and buy a N.Y. spray again (assuming you already have the firearms identification card for when you enter Massachusetts since one is required to carry pepper spray)?
