55 yrs young ,I killed my first deer when i was 13 with my uncles winchester model 94 30-30, he gave it to me in his will in 1994, the rifle hasn't had 500 rounds through it since he bought it new in the 60's, and i only take to the range on his birthday to fire a few rounds in his memory, will probably pass it on to my oldest son

I've been around guns since I was 9 years old, I'm now 30.:D I've only been seriously shooting on a regular basis for the last 3 years.

I am 52. My dad gave me a Stevens 30.30 and a single shot 20 gauge ( I dont remember the make) the day I passed my first Hunters Safety Course at the age of 12. Ive kept my hand at it since.

69 years old. Been shooting for 62 years, and loading for roughly 45. And I still miss occasionally, so practice doesn't always make perfect. :D

I'm 38 and have been shooting since I can remember. Started with Air rifles, and has gone from there...

I am 72 years old.....

:uhoh:.....started with a Red Ryder when I was about 8. I got my first real gun for my 12 th birthday...a Harrington-Richardson single shot 22. Man, how I wish I still had that gun. You know what I mean if you can still remember your first gun. I almost wore it out fondling it. I got a new? Colt mod. 1911 from the Director of Civilian Marksmanship for $23 in 1955. Old timer huh?
regards Hersh

32, almost 33. (Next month)
Been shooting since, er....8 or so? My grandfather started me off on airguns. My friend and his father advanced me with an M16, S&W 44 revolver, 1911, various other pistols, shotguns, and rifles.

After high school I attempted to join various branches of the military but was refused for piddling medical reasons. Since I turned 18, I hadn't picked up a firearm until this year except for paintball guns.

Now I'm an NRA member, and I have a membership at a local range, and I'm buying guns like I might not be able to buy them tomorrow! (Because I may not...)

38 and have been shooting since 13. Competitive Air Rifle and small bore from 13-18. Qualifying on some variant of the M16/M4 last 19 years. And having a blast on my personal time at the range or in the field from age 13 to present.

I'm 55 and have shot guns since I was 16 years old.

How about those grip inserts!:)

Age 37, avid BB gun shooter since around age 6 or 7 (even had a book on marksmanship), avid firearms shooter since age 16 or so. Was also very much into archery for a while, and have also dabbled in Asian martial arts.

33, First shot guns when I was 6 or 7, shortly thereafter was gifted a Benjamin air rifle, Crosman air pistol, and a single shot .22. No serious guns until age 19, bought an AR-15 due to Billy Clinton and his gun ban. 1999 was when shooting got serious, 2000-2003 were all 50K round or more years. Now I cannot shoot as much but I still compete, build guns reload, etc. Until recently I did all my shooting in that sorry place the OP calls home, VaBch. Don't miss it.

Im 23, Ive been makin guns with my hands since I knew that I liked em, after 4 years of life on this earth my parents broke down and gave me 2 toy pistols, I shot my first gun at 6. It was a dinky 22 caliber pocket pistol. I had several bb guns around that time was well. My first "proper" rifle was a 22 caliber bolt action that I was given on my 8th birtday. Its still in my gun safe and sees regular use. I have been shooting pistols and rifles of various calibers from that point on. My first big boy gun was given to me when I was 14. It is a 1908 brazilian mauser that is chambered in .308...hell of a christmas. My stepdad and dad had various california legal rifles and pistols that i used throughout my teens. When I was 18 my first firearms purchase was a Mossberg 500 cruiser. I then sold that and got a Yugo SKS from the same shop I had been going to since I was a child with my dad and stepdad. I moved on to bigger and better places, I came to NV. Since I have been here Ive owned and used several difforent types of rifles, and a few pistols. ended up selling most due to a 7 month stint of unemployment. HOWEVER, Im back to work and rebuilding the collection.

Obsession with guns since I knew what they were. Got 1st one at age 11
(1958). 2 degrees in Gunsmithing, 5 instruction certs, training at Insights and FAS. Too old to fight, too fat to run, too smart to look for trouble. Will not shoot if flipped off. Will definitely shoot if threatened with serious harm.
