Age limits...

At 18 years old, you can buy rifles, rifle ammo, any accessory, bladed weapons, etc.
At 21, you can get everything else, incl. handguns, handgun ammo, Class 3 weapons, a C & R license, etc.

What's the deal concerning black powder guns? 18 = Rifles, 21 = Ruger Old Army Stainless?

Just curious as to what are the age limits are, and what piece(s) of law mandate them.


By the way, if I'm incorrect in my asumptions, please correct me.

I'm not sure abut the law now but when I was 18 I owned an 1858 and occasionally carryed it in my car because it was not considered a firearm. At least there was no prohibition against my owning one. Pain in the butt though I had to go shoot it at least every other day to keep the powder from fouling
