At 18 years old, you can buy rifles, rifle ammo, any accessory, bladed weapons, etc.
At 21, you can get everything else, incl. handguns, handgun ammo, Class 3 weapons, a C & R license, etc.

What's the deal concerning black powder guns? 18 = Rifles, 21 = Ruger Old Army Stainless? :p

Just curious as to what are the age limits are, and what piece(s) of law mandate them.

By the way, if I'm incorrect in my asumptions, please correct me. :)

I'm not sure abut the law now but when I was 18 I owned an 1858 and occasionally carryed it in my car because it was not considered a firearm. At least there was no prohibition against my owning one. Pain in the butt though I had to go shoot it at least every other day to keep the powder from fouling :)
