20 years old (21 in 27 days and counting :D )

Started at age eight but only plinked occasionaly

Been "into" shooting for about two years and activly shooting for about a year.

I turn 40 in Dec and i have been shooting since I was a small kid. I received my first rifle at age 8. I have been trained in the US Army and trained (although poorly and lightly) while attending State Police academy in WV.

A bit odd

I am 20. I shot my first firearm at Scout camp at about age 12. Had shot BB guns prior to that if your counting that. I know shoot about once a week and the DAY I turn 21 I will be turning in my CCW paperwork. I try and always take somebody who has not shot to the range with me but I live in Portland Oregon so thats not always doable since its not the most gun friendly town.

21 shooting since i was 7 started with a browning buckmark .22 and a nylon 66 .22. now i am up to everything under the sun. being in the army i have had alot of chances to handle and fire weapons that most people don't get to, so that is one bonus i guess! from .22lr to 25mm it's a wonderful life!:)

shot very little as a young boy. Joined the Army , shot a lot of everything.
Got out of Army didn't shoot anything for 12 years. Did a trade out of equipment for guns at a famous gunstore here in houston about 4 years ago. Now I own a lot , and shoot a lot of everything.
Oh yeah, 37 now, and just bought my first Daisy red rider, have allready tried to take apart, smoothe up , trick out, etc.

24 yrs old been shooting since I was 6 and have 2 childeren of my own. My daughter picked up her first gun at 4 and my son will start shooting as soon as he can hold the gun in a safe manner.

22, been shooting for as long as I can remember. Bought my first rifle 2 days after I turned 18 and my first handgun 7 days after I turned 21.

I am 51 and started shooting with my granddad's .30-30 Winchester when I was 12. Shot the .30-30, Savage .30-06, and Mossberg 500 12 ga or Winchester Model 12 16 ga. until I was about 22 for various hunting. Did a couple of years of NRA youth marksmanship with .22 rifles in Junior High. Plinking with .22 Ruger Standard pistol and Remington 12 takedown pump rifle.

Had a period of no shooting from about ten years during and after college. After getting a family started I got into centerfire handguns mostly for plinking and self defense. Had a 1911, 4 inch .4 magnum, .357 SP101, and a Glock 21. Eventually got into reloading, then did CPM matches a few times to get a couple of Garands. Now I have lots of long guns and hand guns to play with.

Proudest accomplishement was to train my girls on firearm safety and then when they left home ask me if they could have one of my handguns. "How many can you carry, sweetie?" One chose the GP100 and the other a S&W 642 (and her new hubby got a Rem 870 and G19).

Thinking of starting the IPSC and practical rifle or highpower matches at my new gun club. I want to develop more proficiency with the G23 and 1911 and the Garands.

42/6. shot most everything you can name. like building guns, and have designed a few from a hodge podge of parts just for fun. like building more than shooting. not interested in putting all shots into one hole BTDT.

43. I started at 6 or 7, but haven't been actively shooting over that time so I have maybe 6 or 7 years experience.

Trying to change that.

51.
As a kid, at camp, we shot .22 rifles.
Then did a little shotgun hunting as a teen.
Got a couple of pistols in the late 70's early '80s. The did almost no shooting throughout the '90s. Got back into it about a year ago, and I am trying to make-up for a lot of lost time.

I am 44 as a kid I cut my teeth on 22's. Joined the Army when I was 19 and trained on all of their stuff. always qualified "expert"
M60 Machine Gun
M2 .50 Machine Gun (Ma Deuce) won battalion competitions with that thing.
M1911 .45 Pistol beautiful experience and the qualification was too easy for expert.
M16A1
M16A2 always had a stiffer trigger than the A1 did
Grenade Bang! tink, tink,tink,tink,tink!:D

45, got a BSA Meteor .22 airgun at around age 10 and an Anschutz 525 (.22LR semi-auto) about age 14.
So, 35 years shooting if you count the airgun, and around 30 if you don't.

Airguns are classified as 'firearms' in these here parts, so I claim the '35' years experience :D

Just turned 38 earlier this month, and I've been shooting on and off since I was about seven or eight. Started off with the ubiquitous BB gun, then moved up to a Remington single-shot. Traded that for an M1 carbine, and never looked back.

I'm 56. My father collected guns, mainly historical stuff, and he gave me his old single shot .22 rifle when I was maybe 8. I mainly shoot handguns now, and reload .45acp. I know a lot about a few guns, and a little about a lot.
