OK, more .223 questions.

Lee's Reloading Manual says case should be 1.760
Hornady says 1.750 - 1.760
My case is 1.755
(so I'm starting with a good case)
===================================

Lee says OAL should be 2.250
Hornady says 2.200 - 2.250 depending on which 60 gr bullet is used.

When seated to the cannelure my OAL is 2.166
(I stopped with just one finished round because of this discrepancy)

I'm using 60gr blemished bullets from MidwayUSA
Powder is Reloder15 - 25.0 grains.

So what's more important, OAL from the book or seating to the cannelure?

I seat to the cannelure. If there's any question, I measure a military/factory round.

If you're working up your loads from the starting charge you shouldn't have pressure issues.

I have a trim point if brass is less than 1.755" I use em if longer I trim em back to 1.750" I have some 55g bt Mil-specs that when seated to the cannelure are approx 2.250 they shoot fine. like rc says load em to the cannelure and run em.
