Well, since I don't have to run very much, the Corcoran Jump Boots round out my Cammies.

Nuthin looks as squared away as these bad boys, especially when they got the mirror shine!

I have New Balance sneakers, Lands End "all weather mocs" and Tevas. I've been wearing the Tevas since March! :)

I'd check out the Oakleys but don't know who sells 'em.

You can purchase the Oakleys at their website -- oakley.com.

I got my first pair of Oakleys from a friend who had an extra pair.

The rest of them I got off ebay.

:D :what: :D

For casual wear, el cheapo hikers from Academy Sports. For work GI jungles (summer) or leather combat boots. I generally buy Altama, but I'm currently using a pair of cheap Chinese jungles ("Halloween boots") that are holding up surprisingly well. I have yet to find boots as comfortable as milspec.

At the moment: Dunham Trail-Runners, with steel toes (required for work). I dont like them, they're too spongy. First pair of sneakers I've had since, um, well, I dunno... 8th grade?

After I take my shower: Altamas. I've got a pair thats ~five years old. They look like crap, but they feel like a second skin. Theyve been reduced to "work outside of work" duty, I have a newer pair I keep a shine on for casual wear, and unless I'm wearing a suit (me, in a suit, lol) they pretty much match everything I own. I also have a par of Durangos that I got my freshman year in HS (eight years ago!) that I wear on occasion, I dont wear them often since they need a new heel pad, again....

Danner Ft. Lewis Go-Devils for serious hiking, hunting and winter duty wear.
Sorel Blackbears for cold and deep snow.
Sorel Arrowhons or LaCross Icemans when its damn cold.
Rest of the shoe line up runs from Nike running and cross trainers to el cheapo hikers for casual wear.

I have two pairs of Danner Rainforests that I use to stomp around da' woods (as well as any other outdoor use). The rest of time, like pokin' around the pad, I'm usually wearing one of my many pairs of Nike running shoes, which are nicely broken in.. ;)

I'd like to get a pair of those Oakleys, but I'm not going to spend $150 on a pair of boots I haven't tried on at all. If I buy them on ebay, I can't exactly return them if they don't fit. The price for them directly from Oakley is a bit too high for me. :(

I have fuzzy bunny slippers on my feet as I type this...And yes I have worn them to the range more than once...<~~range ninjas hate me

2 pair Redwing 2245 6" Steel Toe Work Shoes/Boots, BLACK
I could never afford RWs in HS/college & bought them 'cause I could. I alternate my boots on a daily basis. Comfy, durable, and hold a polish.

Jungle Boots, BLACK
The Army issue version of these, resoled with a flat Vibram sole. They are worn n and completely comfy. They are the same pair I broke my ankle in. I have others just like 'em that I wear when working 'round the house.

recently bought a pair of red wings no. 926. they are my first pair of the brand name boots. so far, one of the most comfortable pair of boots. i paid less than $100.

A pair of gray Nike cross-trainers. Comfy, and surprisingly wide enough for a Nike. Reebok's seem to be wide enough for me, but Nike's rarely are. And my foot isnt even that wide.

Oh, and a pair of 3.5yr old Nike DeSchutz sandals. Very comfy, but they have been breaking down. They have thumb-sized holes in the ball-of-my-foot area, but I still wear them here and there. They have been from Lousyanna to NC, to MN all the way to Cancun from NW AR. I suppose they get around. ;)

Danner Acadias. Get them resoled yearly (that Vibram is good stuff, but it sure does wear out fast.). Current pair is 7 years old, still holding up fine. Matterhorn Deluxe for the occasional cold snowy mountaintop.

I have couple of steel toe red wings left over from playing mechanic, the shop bought you one pair a year up to 100 or 150 bucks, I forget which. Nice, but the soles I picked were a soft foam with a rubber sole and the foam gives up after a few years. Nice while working though. They are about dead but look great so I still wear them now and then. May get them redone and may not.

I recently bought a pair of timeberland hiking boots, the low top sort and I forget what they are called. They are between the heavy leather boots and sneakers.

I bought the above timberland because I have a steel toe pair of timberland that finally died after 10 years of off and on use. I removed the laces and use these as slippers for going outside now, I live in the sticks and you don't walk barefoot in my yard if you are awake.

Actually I plan to buy another pair of timberland this fall since the pair I bought lack steel toes and the stores all said in the fall they will have the steel toe version in stock.

I have a pair of nylon/leather sorta military boots that are around 10 inches tall and they are about shot. I plan to just get an all leather knock off of the military, or a military surplus version, and that is the winter boot and heavy duty boot.

I recently bought a cheap pair of rubber boots, the kind that come up almost to your knee. Walmart for 15 bucks or so. I got a pair of high grade ones for free that were wearing out and cut them down to be slippers for winter outside, great for chasing fire wood or whatever in your boxers with just a couple inches of snow on the ground.

I have not had sneakers for around 10 years, about the time I bought the timberland steel toes.

Actually I still have some soccer shoes from high school sports, indoor and outdoor, and I use them for weed eating the hill side that is tough to walk on and what not.

I have ponds and creeks here so old stuff does not die, it gets moved down to the next worst level. When things really fall apart they may get parted out or something. Have yet to reach that level since I needed slippers that were easy to get on and off. Next pair will determine what happens.

Oh, I do have some dress shoes but they are just like the sports coat and pants, they only come out for funerals or weddings or other super duper family occasions or whatever. I don't like them, never have and never will.

Old pair of Magnum's for anything outdoors when it's not too hot to wear long pants

(...)

I'm tired of buying a new pair of Magnum's every year (and I'm not even an LEO, just like the look and comfort)

On my feet, right now, are a pair of Magnum sneakers. My LEO uncle gave them to me lightly used, and they have been worn nearly daily for 3 years.

They're pretty worn now, but they haven't fallen apart. Oh, seeds get into them a little bit when I walk through rough grass, and the front part of the bottom is pretty much flat with no tread (although that's handy if i step in dog goop, easy to wipe off).

But they're still the most comfortable shoes I've worn in my life.

Because they lasted me through a time in my family's life when I didn't have the money for new shoes even, I think this year the first new shoes I get in my newfound financial security will be Magnums. Yeah, they have me hooked.

He wasn't lying when he said they wear really well, either.

Kinda varies with the day - - -

Most days at the office, Nocona or Justin shark, or Tony Lama elephant boots.

New Balance black, low sneakers.

A very old pair of Redwing Irish Setter birdhunters.

I seldom wear my Cabella's insulated hunting boots, but when they're needed, they are toasty nice. :p

Best,
Johnny

Allen Iversons, nike Air Max, timberland boots or Jordan throwbacks:)

Still have a couple pairs of my issue boots but I never wear them.
