Whats the deal with this .308?

MFS is Hungarian, and is also sold by Cabela's. The 308 you linked is steel case, which usually sells for less. I've seen few reviews but those few have been positive.

DAG is great ammo, but I wouldn't buy from CTD. Check out AIM Surplus or Palmetto State Armory instead.

Not sure if it means anything to OP, but I would point out that DAG is Berdan primed and therefore not reloadable. I can't tell you have many times my hand has hovered over the add to cart button for that stuff, as it is good ammo, but then moved on to something else because I couldn't reload it. I'd buy it for my "enduring stockpile," but I bought RORG for that.

I would suggest checking out Widener's; from time to time I see great deals from them.

I have been getting some serious deals from http://the-armory.com

Everything as far as 7.62 NATO I would run through an all GI parts
M1A NM & you know how much they are worth if you can find one.

I have even gotten Hertenberger boxer primed 150 fmj. Just an honest
place to deal with that will take it back if it's not what you wanted.
The only steel that goes in my guns are the steel they are made of !!

"...DAG is Berdan primed and therefore not reloadable..." Steel cases aren't either.
Don't think I'd use a 140 grain SP out of an FN. That $75 will go up a fair bit when shipping is added on too.
