These pictures were taken on different days at different times . . . therefore, the question isn't about the pictures themselves but rather the Dragoons in the pictures. What's different about the Dragoons from one pic to the other?

You guys are right! I made longer pins/rods to get the shells 3/4 of the way out. Rotating the handle for use brings the rod just shy of the cylinder face. That allows you to roll the cylinder with the left hand while keeping the rod in position to use with your right hand.

No, I threaded some rod stock and cut to length. The rod screws into the handle. The ejector is a Kirst offering.



Here's a housing with the spring removed. Extra rod and handle to show assembly.
