Is it illegal to sell .308 AP? (I am assuming fully-loaded cartridges here.)
Is it illegal to buy .308 AP?
Is it illegal to possess .308 AP?
Is it illegal to shoot .308 AP?

The bans on .308 AP and 7.62x39mm are still excellent examples of unelected and unaccountable jackaninnies legislating BS out of thin air.

I believe he's referring to 7.62x51 armor piercing ammunition. I don't think there was ever a commercial .308 Ap load.

AP handgun ammunition has never been used in a crime in the US.

Regardless, .308 is not handgun ammunition anyway, the only reason that it's regulated is that some handguns are made in .308.

Would owning some .30-06 M2 AP rounds, a kinetic bullet puller, .308 dies and an .308 chambered M1A be considered "Constructive Possession" if you did not own a .30-06 rifle? What if you did own a .30-06 rifle?

I have seen some 7.62 x 39 steel core ammo for sale on gun broker.com.

The atf link said it was unlawful for a licensed dealer or manufacteror or collector to import or sell, not a regular subject.

Is that how they do it?

Just being a regular subject?

No FFL?
