What's the most strange/uncommon caliber you've owned/fired?

.38-.45

An old wildcat cartridge, the 38-.45 , .45ACP cases necked down to use .38 bullets. It was used in the 1911 years ago, I had the forming dies and barrel, and had fun with it for a while, still have a few of the rounds I made for it.

30ppc LARGO

A wildcat of my own making. Sort of a 7.62x39 improved with a 6ppc shoulder angle

you are correct VINTAGE-SLOTCARS....I wish I could find .458 for $1 per round....it costs more than that to reload them. I shoot the Lotts (Hornadys) at around $4.95 per round and the Win Mags (Winchester) at about $4.10 per round.....probably more expensive nowadays since I bought mine about ten years ago. It's cheaper to shoot .50BMG.

.30 Belted Newton (aka .30-338), .308 Norma Magnum, .25-20, .25-35, 6.5x52r (nearly identical to the .25-35), .32 Winchester Special. Nothing way out there, but most of them aren't all that common these days.

460 Weatherby Magnum. The recoil was :what:

Stuff I shot in the army besides the M16 and M9:

40mm paint/training rounds out of a M203 and a Mk19

9mm Tracer out of an AT4

5.56 out of a M249

Army:

155mm HE (M109A6, M198, M777A1)
105mm HE (M119A1)
.50BMG (M2HB)
40mm TP (Mk19, M203)

Civilian:
.32S&W (H&R Model 04)
7.62x54R (Mosin Nagant, perhaps not THAT uncommon)
.22 Short/CB (Rohm RG-10 Revolver)
9x18 Makarov (Again not uncommon)

Everything except my M38 Mosin Nagant got sold though.

fired? maybe .357 Maximum or .500 Maximum.
own...maybe 7.5 swiss. I tend to not like to own too many crazy calibers. I traded some to save on expenses.

35/30-30, the original smokeless wildcat.

25 Niedener (30-40 necked down to 25 Cal)

.475 Linnebaugh (too much for me!)

.41 Magnum

...the irony is about 2 hours after I posted this, I was in the small local gun store, and there was a Ruger Blackhawk. I asked what it shot, and was surprised to find out it was .41 Magnum. I guess it's more common than I thought.
