I dont even bother to check the price of .22 when i purchase it. Having assorted firearms to feed, in .22, 5.7, 9mm, .40, .45 ACP, .50AE, 5.56, .308, and 12 gauge, I like to have at least one thing I can go to the store and snap up in bulk without agonizing over how much more it costs now than way back when or obsessively calculating price per round. Neatly stacking boxes of .308 in my stash doesnt give me the same pleasure it used to...instead I break out in cold sweat thinking about all the money its costing me.
