It's my dad's, and it's been in the family a long time, but he's got two other 30-30s that are more sentimental, and is thinking of selling this one to buy something else.
It's a Marlin Model 1893. It says Marlin Safety on top of the reciever, and the serial number on the bottom of the reciever is 37907*. The blueing is pretty worn, and the wood has a few nicks and stuff, but it still looks pretty decent overall.
My dad said the ejector might be bent a little too, but not sure. I haven't shot it in over a decade (neither has he), and it seemed to shoot just fine then.
What's this gun worth?
Thanks.
