What's Up in Cinn, OH?

Aim does have some good looking prices on practice ammo; but I'm wondering why they don't have anything in .38 or .357?? Looks like their revolver ammo is limited.....

Well, I wasted 2 hours of driving and a quarter tank of gas today driving out to one shot today.... apparently they are closed on mondays. I get home and check the website just to be sure I didn't miss anything; nope, store hours are definitely not listed on the website. I guess I should have called first. Still irritating though.

One thing that was interesting at Target World was that they have a machine gun "class". They teach you about, and have you shoot, 3 different guns.

That sounded like it might be fun. They mentioned MP5, M-16, and one other I don't recall. You could also buy extra loaded magazines to fire after the class.

interesting... I have seen people shooting FA weapons there, but they were AR's in 9mm.

Target World does not allow .223 at their indoor range.

Highorder, you're correct, it was an M-16 style gun in 9MM.

I went out to Aim Surplus, great ammo prices on Wolf Military Classic in 7.62x39, and S&B 9MM. Felt like you were in a doctor's office talking to the receptionist over the counter, but friendly enough. No sales floor at all, you place your order and they bring it back to the small counter.

I didn't buy any, but outside they had latching surplus wooden ammo cases for sale @ $1, could come in handy and you couldn't go wrong at that price.

dcoop

I forgot AIM Surplus. I think they are in Dayton too.

AIM is about halfway between Dayton and Cincy, in Middletown. Not a bad drive from Cincy, straight up I-75.

Well, I guess it depends on where you live in the area. I live on the Westside, and most people in the area are pro gun. While not technically within city limits, we still consider ourselves to be from Cincinnati. We are definately still within Hamilton County.

Actually, I think once you get out of the city and into the suburbs, most of the people are pretty conservative and pro gun. In fact, I have several friends that are die hard Democrats - but they are definately on the conservative side.

BTW, does anyone know if Chris G. is one of the owners of One Shot?
