Hey all, not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but here it is anyway (my apologize if this is an inappropriate subject here).

I was at the NRA Range yesterday firing away with my Glock and had a weird thing happen to my mag - it fell out of my G23 after 6 of 13 shots were fired. Wanted to ask the folks there about this but I can't.

I used to post alot on Glocktalk under the Novalooker.

At some point, for some reason, Glocktalk ceased to allow me to post - though I was still able to log in.
I've tried over the last year or so to contact Eric the administrator and figure out what was going.

Anyway, in light of the mag incident yesterday I tried again today to log on to Glocktalk and was able to, but was not able to post. I thought, since I never heard back from Eric and presumed some of the problems might be related to Verizon's internet service (I have had problems recieving registration confirmation email from many web sites, including this one) I would register a nw account with my gmail address. Turns out I can't do that because Glocktalk has banned my IP address.

So my questions for THR are twofold -

Has anyone had their mag just drop out in the middle of a string of shots and what could cause it?

And what is up with Glocktalk? Why did they ban Verizon.net IP addresses (mine changes each time I log in and they are all banned) and why doesn't Eric or anyone else there respond to emails?

I don't own any Glocks, but the two I've used have never had an issue like you describe.

However, my friend had repeated problems with the mag dropping like yours with his 10mm. I believe he got rid of it rather than fix or discover the issue.
