I've read several people comment that Magtech brass in essence sucks, but upon searching, I cannot find details. I have about 100 pieces of .454 Magtech which I've reloaded 2-3 times without problem. So what exactly is wrong with their brass?

Dunno either.

I've reloaded a lot of their 9mm brass with no issues. In fact there's a bunch of it mixed in with the Wincheser, S&B, and Remington cases that currently reside in the cleaned, resized, expanded, and primed container waiting for powder and bullets when I need more ammo in a hurry.

Take Care

I have about 1000 of the 45 acp, about 500 44 mags, about 1000 9mm, about 500 40's, about 200 357's, and about 500 38 special Magtech brass. I don't have any problems with it, and I have loaded some of it 5 or 6 times. It is a heck of a lot better than S&B or PMC and seems to be good quality normal commercial brass.

I've got about 600 rounds loaded up in .45 acp. I've been shooting and reloading this stuff almost every other week for over two years.

I think it's great!!

The only brass I have serious problems with is AMERC (American Ammo). That stuff is absolute garbage. Only real problem I have with S&B is that the primer pockets seem a bit tighter than most brands of brass.

CBC is okay stuff, but seems to be a little harder than some other brass, leading to spring back when it is sized. I use it.
