I would like to hear from any and all who have SHOT AND HANDLED a Glock 2910mm compact enough to really evaluate it, and seek any negatives that you might have about it. Now I know a lot of you are going to want to comment, but please, tell us how much or if you have shot and handled the Glock 29, not other Glocks. I now own one, but have not wrung it out yet, and just thought it would be interesting to see what others have decided. I don't care if you hate Glocks, if you have experience with the GLOCK 29, feel free to blast away! Initial impression is that I have seriously overlooked this gun. It seems to fit my hand very well (it came with a slightly extended mag bottom, which fits the little finger), is balanced well, and seems smaller than I imagined. I am a long time 10mm user, and know how effective the 10mm is when compared to the .357 and .45. You get a little more blast and recoil, but you deliver a serious payload, too. What is your take?

it's my EDC. I shoot very hot loads from Swampfox, Buffalo Bore, and Double Tap. The only mods I have made is putting in a Wolf 21# SS Spring and Guide Rod.which his stopped brass ejecting 20 feet. and . I also put in a Storm Lake 4.48" barrel because it offers improved chamber support for the very hot loads and increases velocity back to around G20 specs. I have had zero issues of any kind, which you expect from a Glock.

I use G20 15 round mags with A&G sleeves for HD and10 round mags with Pearce +0 grip extensions for pinky support. I also have a KKM 40 conversion barrel. Makes range trips much cheaper. I would never buy into "there is no ammo available MYTH". I buy online and it is slightly more money but I don't buy a lot of SD ammo after testing reliability. I buy range ammo from Georgia Arms. Very reasonable.

The 10mm is the most flexible and powerful system generally available IMO I love my G29SF. It is by far my favorite. I'm looking for a Colt Delta Elite now.

Pix are here.

It's my everyday carry too. I have an extended and ported storm lake barrel, but the rest is stock. It's 7 ounces heavier than my glock 27, and with the ported barrel, it kicks less. It's been 100% reliable; it does not feel as good in the hand as my CZs, but it's relatively compact and easy to carry iwb.

BTW, when I received my ccw license, we tested the ported barrel for gas problems in the face, and nothing of the sort happened. I like the barrel a lot.

In the couple thousand rounds I put through my 29 it has always went bang when the trigger is pulled. I don't remember any failures with it. Recoil doesn't seem excessive, it has more of a push than the sharper recoiling model 33.

I really like my 29, probably my favorite Glock. The only downside is my lack of time to shoot the gun.
