Our next contest we will be playing for undying love....Not necesarilly mine...just undying love in general...make of it what you will.

There is ONE thing wrong with this picture. And no, size of knife to gun caliber discrepancy isnt it.

wrong slide on wrong frame?
or the slide is too long...

and no, the bullets are the right way.

Is WHAT the grip panels?

yep, that was a chop of a XD sub mated to a tac pro.

are they the wrong grip panels on the gun?

(hmmm...when will UPS get here:confused: )

The Ruger emblem is missing. It should begin five lines down from the top.

greygun is RIGHT!!!

Mal H is WRONG!!!:D :D

thanks for playing boys and girls, enjoy that undying love!!

here is the original pic...that just so happens to be in my signature as a link....Use your resources people.

One thing is wrong with the pic, the Handall prevents the gun from being disassembled, Doesn't it? As for doctoring it up to remove the Ruger Emblem, I feel like I was looking at a Where's Waldo book.

the handall comes off easy enough...and i hardly ever take it all the way down...the most it ever gets is a wipe of CLP and a toothbrush across the extractor.

Come to think of it, my ruger is a lot like my cat...doesnt like to be washed.

Actually there is no disassembly possible to the 22/45 gripframe it's self as it is a one piece molded unit. The lower internals should be disassembled for a through cleaning about once a year. The upper, I strip and clean after each match, or 200rds.

BA,
Right you are. Apparently my brain was out of gear! I was concentrating on the lower internals and not normal field stripping disassembly. Thanks for the correction!
