What's wrong with www.packing.org?

I try to go to www.packing.org and my server can't find it???

Down a lot

Packing is down quite a bit these days ...

I starting visiting packing.org several times a day back in 2003 when MN passed "shall issue". Back then I really used to love that website and it was a huge help in learning more about 2A issue. Then one day they introduced the "voting" system. The rest is history.

It's not moderated anymore. It isn't even updated much anymore. It seems more like The owner just doesn't care anymore.

WWW.Handgunlaw.us is a great site, with much the same information as packing.org but in a better format -- and it's stable.

Actually, it is moderated.

PDO utilizes a user based moderation system in which posts and threads are scored. When said posts or threads dip below a certain level, a yellow disclaimer banner appears over the submission and is removed from view, unless one chooses to view all submissions....which can include profanity, slurs, etc.

Though it pains me to admit, you are correct about the owner not caring. Even the ccw database isn't updated as it once was.
