My Brown Executive Elite. Put together as well as anyone could build one. Perfect trigger, 100% reliable and very accurate.

Oh and the blued finish, no fcs, naked slide and traditional checkering just make it all I want in the looks department.

Though I love my 70 series pistols the ones closest to my heart are two of my many builds- I just couldn't part with the top one- a year later I made it a brother :)

Colt post-war military contract slides and barrels, Essex G.I. frames, wide spur hammers-

Top one done with Wilson Combat small parts (with an oh-so-sweet trigger)
Bottom one done as and experiment with Fusion Firearms small parts (impressed with performance, 6000 rounds so far)

not quite a 1911, but close enough, are my ballester molinas. one i bought arsenal reconditioned for $175 and the other in need of refinish for $125 in 2002 or so when century had these cheap. neither one is matching numbers or tight enough in the barrel collar to group well at a distance, but i carry the crappy one with a blast and matte black finish frequently. it never fails to go bang from me to you, and was cheap enough i could afford to lose it if i had to use it.

WWII Ithica

Here's a WWII Ithica accurized in the 60's by a local gunsmith. Fired thousands of rounds and still the best trigger in my collection.

Interesting, and I like your style....I had 3 Sistema's at similar prices, too bad the market caught up on how good they really were....Like an idiot, sold them all for money long gone.....:banghead:

I've had a bunch over the years but this one has always been my favorite. It's a 1st series Kimber Classic Gold Match (circa 97). Brutally accurate and 100% reliable. I shoot this one in bowling pin matches and it's never had a stumble. I'm a sucker for blued guns...

Frame made in 1918, WWII Springfield A1 rebuild. It had a broken barrel-lug, but I was given a brand new in-the-wrap USGI High Standard barrel and with a new 16lb recoil spring, it shoots flawlessly and is very accurate.

Colt CCO (sorry, I don't have a picture). Long-discontinued and mine is the only one I've ever seen, but if you like 1911s it's about perfect for carry.
