My favorite 1911 is my Springfield Custom Carry. It's the one with the curly koa grips.
I shoot better with my Concept II though. I don't know if it's because I've spent more time with that gun more than any other, but shooting it is a joy.
Does it have to be just one?? I have three Wilson Combat 1911's and I love all three of them. A CQB, CQB Compact, and my carry weapon a stainless Professional.
my 1933 Vintage Colt 1911A1 in Super .38ACP because of the attention to detail from Colt and the stories it might tell...
my Kimber Teddy Jacobson Custom II as it is supremely reliable and accurate...
my SiGARMS Teddy Jacobson GSR Revolution STX 'cuz it has all the extras and it is the most accurate...
my Springfield Armory 'Project Street Gun' as I assembled it during Teddy Jacobson and Stephen Camp's first Project Street Gun class so there is a bit of my blood, sweat and tears in it as well as it has more of the classic 1911A1 looks...
I only have an Auto Ordnance 1911A1. I love the thing. I think it may be my favorite handgun out of all of them so far. It just fits my hands and points so well.
