imposter

I belong to the 1911forum, and someone on the 1911 forum was kind enough to notify me that Rinspeed is using one of my pictures as his own.

On page 2 of this thread you'll see Rinspeed posting a picture of a thunder ranch special with a 7.62mm ammo can, peltor comtacs, and bdu's in the backround.

I took that picture and posted the picture on the 1911 forum in 2005.....BTW, thats my TRS

My S&W 1911 5" Bbl. Stainless steel (SS).
Slide Release/lock - Wilson Combat extended (SS)
Les Baer Custom Flat Serrated (SS) Main Spring Housing
Guy Hogue Rosewood Grips
Also, have a Jarvis Inc. "Drop In" .400 CorBon (SS) Bbl.
& 5 Wilson Combat ETM mags
Carried in a Milt Sparks Axiom Corodvan Holster.

I shoot it better than any of my other handguns. I've let others
handle it telling them to not look at the slide before guessing what it is
and they usually guess something very expensive.

I'm partial to my stock as a rock Glock 21.... I know a lot of people on here hate Glock, but I dig mine, thats why I bought it...

I shot a friends several times and rented on at a rage a few times and liked it...

I shoot it regularly, can do decent groups and it has never had a malfunction in over 10 years... So, not saying its better than any other flavor of .45 but it works well for me...

I would not mind picking up a .40 now though...

paul45, I'd say you like Colts ;) It looks as if you may have a couple you could spare?? :)

Imposter? I've never claimed I took the photo nor that it was my TRS. It's a great pic and my TRS is identical. To tell you the truth I don't remember where I saw it.

Okay...Maybe imposter is too harsh of a word. I thought you were passing that picture and gun off as your own. If you're using a picture, it's better to say that it's not yours to begin with. That way any confusion is avoided in the future.

Nighthawk T3

XD9mm, That Nighthawk T3 looks great! I wish I could afford one of those (after buying my DW CBOB a while back, I would be shot by my wife if I got a T3:D), I heard the Nighthawk 1911s are excellent pistols. I bet that T3 makes the most perfect carry gun. Enjoy.

Thanks, AZGlock13. I would advise anyone to save their cash and buy a Nighthawk Custom whenever they can. I can only speak for my T3 since I have never shot any other Nighthawk models, but this thing as a great gun. The customer service and quality is great by far the best I have received in dealing with company dealing in custom work. Not just in the firearm industry but over all. Every aspect of the gun is geared towards making it the best carry gun it can be. The only problem is I'm scared to carry it. I don't want to get any wear marks or scratches on it but I'll get over that eventually. This gun just isn't a looker either. It has the performance to back up its good looks. I have put about 700 flawless rounds through it so far with many more to come.

My Remington Rand. My father was on the Lexington during WWII. He brought it home with him when the war ended. It was the first gun I ever fired. He died in 1997 and I started shooting it on the anniversary of his birthdate every year. Since I retired in 2004, I started shooting 21 rounds through it 3 times a year. Once for my father, on VE Day and on VJ Day in honor of the generation that survived the Great Depression and got us through WWII.

I sort of agree with Anna's Dad. I've got several pistols, a couple of Walthers 9mm and 40, an XD 40, a Berretta 92, Colt 45, but mt favorite shooter is a Ruger P97DC. I almost bought another one so I'd have two of them. Blitz

The G30 isn't the most beautiful .45, but it's amazingly wonderful to shoot! It's my daily carry gun.

I also have a great love for my Colts, as well... here's one of my favorite Colts...
