I love the clean look. There should be an addendum to the 2nd Amendment disallowing stampings and roll marks on guns. ;)

I enjoy shooting ARs, so it'd be that for me.

A close second is my 4" GP100. It's just fun to shoot. Even though I have more semi autos, I think I'm a revolver guy at heart.

My 1954 CMP HRA Service Special M1 Garand, by far. Most fun to shoot, look at, most beautiful stock, most interesting history. I have a lot of guns but if I was forced to give all but one up, this would be the keeper.

Capybara, that is a beauty. I really need to get a Garand but when I do I doubt it'll look as good as that one.

Favorite Firearm

Probably my S&W Model 14-3 .38 Special. I know the .357 replaced it and also goes through car doors easily, but the .38 Special has taken down a lot of bad guys. The Model 14 I have has the target grips which feel very comfortable. It's very accurate, and I could shoot it all day and not get a sore hand.

My home town police department had .38 Specials from the 1920s to the 1970s as did many other police departments.

It's my synthetic foreend and wooden stocked Mossberg 500. I use it every week and the act of using it frequently makes me very fond of it. After that it would be my 30-30 lever action, again, it spends a lot of time on the range and in the field. Though emotionally attached to them for much use, they are not too hard to replace if I need to.

This is my favorite. When I bought it I had trouble hitting the target. After a trip to a smith, with the mag safety removed and the sights properly zeroed it shoots like a dream.

Colt 1911 WWI repro in carbonia blue.

Followed closely by the Colt SAA in nickel, 5.5" barrel, .45 Colt

I6Turbo, mind if I ask what you go there? Very handsome.

Typically, whichever one I just got... for a few days, at least.

Otherwise, it varies from day to day, as there are so many differences between them..
That's kinda me too.

But on the other hand, when needing to thin the collection I have a really tough time, even with pieces I haven't shot in years ... even if it's not particularly accurate, beautiful or cool ... at one time I had a real desire for it and that always comes back to bite me when I think of letting one go ... so unless I have a very strong motivation, I just buy another safe.
