Right now it's my Custom Colt MK-IV Combat Commander!

But I am sure that will Change when I get the Browning Cynergy for Clays!

I finally bought an M1 yesterday and took it out to the range today.

I've wanted one for a long time. I am giddy.

some stock photo i found off google. mine has no flash suppressor just the 3-lug for my suppressor attachment (AWC Tac-Nine). i have a knights armament rail system with forward vertical knight's (KAC) grip with a daniel defense offset flashlight mount with surefire 6p. also double HK factory mag clamp to hold two 30-rounders. and of course magpuls on the mags.

for pistols i love my Kimber TLE/RL-II 1911 .45 ACP pistol. that thing is a freakin tack driver. i have a Streamlight aluminum light mounted on the accessory rail as well and it rides in a Safariland 6000 series holster.

another googled photo sorry!

My "go to gun"? CZ75B .40 S&W duo-tone (stainless frame, park/blued slide). Very accurate, never fails to run and keeps running.. Not uncommon to shoot 200-300 rounds through it nearly every weekend.

The absolute, never part with, pass to the kids, pry from my cold dead hands gun?

Actually, it's two:

1890 Winchester pump in 22WRF. Bought new by my great-grandfather in Tennessee in 1920 (have the paperwork), still shoot and fairly accurate.

The other is an Arisaka mod. 44 calvary carbine made in about 1928 in 6.5X50 Jap. Brought back by other grandfather. I got ammo, know where it shoots and shoot it often. Real loud and a great conversation starter at the range.

This one's a late-model 1928A1, possibly one of the very last before production switched to the M1. Although I prefer the 1928AC (vertical foregrip like the 1921s, but slower rate of fire than those voracious fire-breathers), I think y'all get the point...

Mind you, this weapon belongs to a friend in another state who's a Class 2 FFL, photo'd while I was visiting his workshop. Unfortunately, my current AO has a [uninteligible] NFA ban. Freakin' anti-gun Commie LIEberals...

Favorite I can actually own around here: Give me a good, solid GI-spec Government Model. Or maybe a longslide 1911...

Just my personal opinion.

Like 1911JMB said, it's like trying to pick a favorite child. I've got a soft spot for every gun I own. BUT:

If I had to choose a favorite gun, it'd be my Kimber Gold Match .45. Accurate, reliable, simple good looks, and it just feels so right!

If I could only keep one gun I now have, it'd be my late father's Remington Model 33 that he got new in 1931. It's the least valuable gun in my safe, but it could never be replaced.

i've always like any sort of 1911 style .45, even though i dont have one yet. My current favorites are my Glock 17 and my Marlin Model 1894SS.

Out of my collection I would have to say my Savage 111 in 30-06 with a Nikon Prostaff 3x-9x scope. After that my Winchester Model 1895 in 30-40 which was my father's until he passed away about 4 years ago and after these two any of the rest that I have depends on which one I have in my hands at the time.

Without upsetting any of my "babies", I'll just pick the one I carry the most. My Colt, stainless officers 45. It keeps my backup, Tomcat company.
