Favorite Guns

My favorites are all the same model with minor variations form a 10 year spread between each of them. Colt Officers Models, 38 Special; 1941, 1951, and 1961. They truly don't make them like that any more!!!!!!!!!!!!

For rifles, nothing I've found gets me as hot and bothered as the M14/M1A. I'd run back into my burning house for mine. I also like my AK a lot. But my M1A is my favorite.

For pistols, I like my Glock better than anything else I've tried--HK, SIG, 1911s, Berettas. No frills. A real K.I.S.S approach to a defensive/combat sidearm that I totally get behind.

I also really like a good Series-70 1911. Feels better in the hand for sure, and has a comforting heft to it that the Glock lacks.

I have to break it down into catagories.

Pistol: Browning Hi-power Practical in 40 S&W.
Revolver: Model 17 S&W.
Shotgun: Beretta BL3 20 ga. O/U with Angle Ported Chokes.
Haven't found a rifle that WOWs me, yet. But the M1 Garand comes close.
