My current favorite is this old Colt SAA in .32-20, made in 1914. It has been in a flood and worked on by Bubba. I bought it a few months back and have attempted to correct the work of Bubba.
My favorite is usually the one I have in my hand--in this case two conversions with fake ivory carved grips. 1861 and1851 conversions in 38 special. The 61 is marked ASM but has no Italian proofs--I think the parts were assembled in the USA. The 51 conversion is a Cimarron Uberti.
Crappy pictures but my favorite is my Monson Mass Dan Wesson 15-2. Its the sweetest shooting, most accurate revolver I've ever owned. It has a big finish blemish and the grips have seen better days but it's a great shooter. I'm considering a refinish with new grips.
After recently selling a pair or Ruger Blackhawks (.45 Colt/.45 ACP) and 3" Ruger GP100 (.357 Mag) I'm down to six Rugers and a 4" stainless Colt Python and they're all keepers. My favorite by far is the Ruger Super Redhawk "Alaskan" that I sent to Mr. Bowen last year who converted it into the perfect 4" .454 Casull. I carry this revolver every time I'm hiking or camping. I couldn't sell it for what I have into it but I could care less since I'm nevergoing to sell it.
I don't have a huge "collection" per se...but I do have a definite favorite.
I picked up this 627 "Pro" in late 2016. I immediately had a local revolver smith tune it and polish the trigger face, the action on it is absolutely superb. My goal was to have a 38 special range toy and it is just that. It is wonderfully accurate and superb to shoot. I started reloading primarily so I could feed this girl all the wadcutters she could eat. Paper, steel...doesn't matter, this thing is a joy to shoot.
