What do you check for in the used display every time you're in the local gun shop, still to no avail? For me, it's a Ruger SP101 in .22 lr. I'd prefer to find an older fixed sight version, but even the flimsy windage adjustible rear sight would do. If somehow a shop had two in stock, so help me I'd probably have to buy 'em both right on the spot.

Unicorns can only be approched by a virgin girl. Since virgins are in short supply I pretty much leave the unicons alone.

rtl,

FOUND: One unicorn ("For me, it's a Ruger SP101 in .22 lr.")

Hole in the Wall gunshop/range, Kennewick, WA. I think it's a 3" bbl, but I'm sure it's a half lug, and it's been sitting there for at least two months. Less than $300. You can Google them for a phone number.

Your thanks (and virgins) are not needed.

A Webley-Fosberry. Not that I ever expect to see one, but hey.

I like my guns, like my women, to have some experience!

Doh! A coworker is in Kennewick for the weekend right now, BUT I DON'T HAVE HIS CELL NUMBER!!!!

I'll call the shop tomorrow. Thank you!

A Smith & Wesson Registered Mag with a 3 1/2 inch barrel and service stocks with the factory grip adaptor. :) Thats the one I'm always on the lookout for.

Stainless Ruger Speed-Six in 9mm...

3" S&W M66...

Webley MkVI converted to .45ACP...

2" Colt Lawman...

High Standard Crusader 44Mag...

S&W M940...

Colt Magnum Carry or SF-VI...

Still looking!

Funn, many people have said a Webly VI in .45 ACP. There's one at my local gun-shop that's been there for who knows how long. Asking price is $500 bucks.

Then it would be a travesty to let that unicorn get by these poor folks, now wouldn't it? If they want the name/number/fax of the shop, they can send me a message. I'm no sales agent, just an observer. ;)

The one handgun I'd like is......

The one handgun I'd like right now is a vintage S&W Model 66 with 6" barrel! They're getting hard to find.

This one wouldn't be for me, but I'd like a S&W WWII era Victory model, w/US Navy markings, is very good to like new condition (not refurbed). I see them from time to time on GoneBroker, but alas, no luck for me yet.

Couple years back, an acquaintance told me of picking up an un-fired, NIB, early vintage Colt Python at an estate sale ... that's my unicorn (preferably a 4-incher) ...
