LR primers, and maybe a keg of 748 for cast .405 WCF's... I'm sitting pretty good for handgun stuff.
Couple of K of 168 SMK for the 308 and 50 gr .224 for my 223 Howa and at least 1K ea large and small rifle primers and another 16 # 4064.
primers as many as I can afford
AR-15 and .223 dies, Browning Maxus or Silver, 16 gauge reloader, primers, powder, primers, powder, primers.....
The only thing i will be short on is Bourbon. Jack Daniels to be exact.
I'm going to buy a pmag and see what all the fuss is about.
A boat load of 22 lr and more small pistol primers
everything that Im digging into now...small rifle primers, large rifle primers. 4831 - 4320 powder, H332-H335,, and lots of 22lr ,,Im down to 2hd large rifle primers. I did however find 1000 small rifle primers, 2 months ago..
once all this crap is calmed down,,Im going to stock back up.I won,t go pig wild.. All i want to do is restock wht I been digging into...Did I say I want 22 lr..
My credit card statement.
10000 or so .22LR, other than that I'm in pretty good shape already.
BEER! Was there a shortage of beer? Nobody told me! I must go out and buy a truck load immediately! PS-------I DON'T DRINK!
Actually I too was fairly prepared after the 89 thing, but I messed up and got hooked on 45 ACP right in the middle of this and all my worries began! I can't seem get my hands on a single grain of Bulls Eye!!!!! So I had to resort to Unique, Red Dot, Win 231, AA#5, Clays, ------
I had a friend who has a 14 oz. can of BE in the old metal can still sealed. He ask me if it was any good since it had floated around in the shop in the last hurricane. I told him definitely not and to give give it to me to properly dispose of -------I've yet to see it------some froend!
" I told him definitely not and to give give it to me to properly dispose of -------I've yet to see it------some froend!"
He obviously has no concern for his own safety! LOL
Right now gas has gone to $3.65/gal. When it goes back to $3.04 like it was a while back, I'm going to stock up!
Reloading components and 22 ammo, I'm good to go.
55grs, primers, powder and if brassman ever gets more .223 in, a whole bunch of that. the only person who is happy about the supplies drying up is my mail lady. she was tired of trying to pick up those"if it fits it ships" boxes.
Yea, I think my ups guy is glad I can't get bullets right now. When things loosen up, "I'll get even".
I'm good on everything else right now and I still have a few thousand each of the bullets I shoot the most, I just don't like not being able to order them when I want to and I've had to scale my shooting way back to make them last.
I can buy powder right off the shelves around here so it's not a problem but I still usually keep, and the key word here is, "Several" pounds of it here, and still have 10 to 15k of spp around here also. Always do.
I also will get a few bricks of 22 rimfire.
About a month ago the Gander Mountain store in my area got in 5 million rounds of 22s and they were gone in 1.5 hours. Who shoots 22s that much?
they'll show up at the next gun show for four times what they paid for them, and they will still have them when I leave.
Bullseye, maybe some SPP and 22LR ammo.
Rifle bullets (not loaded ammo)
Primers- I'm good for now, but will need to restock
.401 bullets- I didn't think the bullets would be in short supply
I am good, might need some 22 in 2014.
I'll slowly restock on the things that I'm using up now. I will wait until the prices return to normal, and let the guys that really need supplies hit it first. I was fairly well stocked, as this was not my first "crunch".
To answer the question, 4831, Varget, 231, a few thousand primers and bullets. I saw this coming with ammo and components, even AR's and mags, but the tooling/die shortage was a little surprise. Lightman
22 lr. I saw venders at a new york state gun show selling bricks for 50 to 75 dollars, they must be gold plated
I have powder for 15,000 rounds now. but more powder will do.
I need some H335--down to one #
Other powders I am ok at 32#'s
9mm and 40 S&W Rainier bullets. It never occurred to me they'd be unavailable for more than a couple of weeks and I only have a few hundred rounds. That's put an end to my IDPA Saturdays.
