When was this 29-6 built?

So I tried dating this S&W 29-6, but I am apparently "not its type."

Ok, now that the played-out joke is over...

My Standard Catalogue of Smith and Wesson should ship today, but my friend needs to know (right stinkin' now, of course) when his 29 Classic (29-6) was built. Can someone with the catalog help me out?

The serial number is BRY96XX.

My book is a First edition which stops at August 1994 (BRFxxx) but I would venture a guess and go with late 1994! Someone with the Second edition will need to verify that though!
