I know this probably has been covered before but I wanted to see an updated version of this thread. I also saw the one that says "Where do you carry your wallet?"

Alright where do you carry your weapon (ofcourse this is all dependent in the state that you live in because of different ccw regulations).

1. Front right
2. Front Left
3. Back left
4. Back Right

Where?

Reason for me asking this is because I am soon going to get my CCW and I don't know anything about a comfortable way of using it. That is why I am here to speak with the experts.

Right upfront in a smartcarry rig. :)

90% of the time, Taurus 450 on the left ankle. Other guns, various places including left hip pocket or breast pocket of leathers.
Biker

Hip pocket, inside pocket of sport-coats and bomber jackets, outside pocket of inside-pocketless jackets, cell phone pocket of dittybag depending on where it will stay well concealed and handy in/on/around whatever I am wearing at the time.

IWB about 7 o'clock (I'm a Southpaw).

The angle looks funny b/c I took the pic myself.

Here some of the other stuff I carry. Surefire, Leatherman and Mag are on the right hip. Wallet and Benchmade in front right pocket. Gerber in front left.

Heh. You don't carry in that rig much, Chipperman. I'm all for taking care of good equipment (and that cordovan leather is beautiful), but there's not a speck of visible honorable service wear on your leather, there. :)

Get some creases and wear marks going... from carrying!

Usually a 642 in front right pants pocket inside one of Azrael's holsters. Looks like a wallet.

Usually under left arm, or at 3:00 OWB. Depends on weapon carried.

This is until I have the funds available to replace all my right handed equipment with left handed stuff. Recently found out I shoot a lot better left than I do right.

Change over is going to require ambi safety for my Para-Ord P13 and left handed holsters for my other weapons.

Unfortunately, due to serious financial setback, this will have to wait.
